See it in Action: Carisma Scale Adventure Lynx ORV [Video]

In its stock configuration, the Carisma Scale Adventure Lynx ORV looks like one rough and tumble R/C scaler. However, when you upgrade the wheels and tires and add a selection of scale accessories, you end up with an off-roading monster.

While I have yet to see Carisma's SCA-1E in person, the video footage that I've witnessed up to this point has been impressive. After all, this platform finished second overall in its first RECON G6 "The Fix" endurance outing, no simple task, even for an established radio-controlled rig. Even with that impressive performance in the books, the latest video from Carisma has me moving the SCA-1E Lynx higher up on my list of "must review" machines.

The gracefulness with which the Lynx navigated elevation changes, tight spaces, and steep declines is a thing of beauty. Between the technical driving and the beautiful landscape, it's easy to get caught up in this video.
