Carisma Scale Adventure's SCA-1E "Coyote" RTR Trail Truck
The first of two new models to roll out from Carisma’s offshoot brand.
After weeks of teasers and hints, the first of two new 1/10-scale trail rigs from Carisma Scale Adventure has been announced. The SCA-1E Coyote RTR is a ready-to-run rig which boasts impressive features and a cool, retro-styled pickup truck body.
Aimed squarely at the adventure and scale fanatic, the SCA-1E is set up much like other tenth-scale trail machines. Using a ladder-frame chassis and four-link suspension as its base, this ready-to-run model is yet another competitor to the Axial SCX10/SCX10 II, Vaterra Ascender, Traxxas TRX-4, and other upcoming scale R/C models.
While the chassis setup may look familiar, the body is somewhat of a blast from the past. The body on the Coyote RTR features a matte black finish and gorgeous 1950’s styling, including fender-mounted side mirrors, door handles, and steel bumpers. To be honest, it’s a refreshing approach to trail rigs, and has a “shop truck” feel to it that’s both charming and rugged.
