If you’re a fan of Carisma Scale Adventure and their SCA-1E platform, Christmas has come early! The original SCA-1E Coyote has been refreshed, and the next generation has been announced, the SCA-1E Coyote 2.1.
Some of the highlights of the SCA-1E Coyote 2.1 include a chassis-mounted steering servo, a front-mounted battery tray, and Carisma’s own ARC-1 ESC. While other Carisma Scale Adventure models have received an array of these updates, the Coyote has now been brought up to speed with the rest of the pack.
Still, there are some updates that have been reserved specifically for this model. Carisma has developed the Anti-Torque-Twist Transmission (ATT) to help combat negative effects from torque twist. Speaking of torque, the SCA-1E Coyote 2.1 features a 14T pinion gear and an overall gear ratio of 14,83 (5.92:1) for improved low-end performance.
While the body style of the Coyote remains the same, there are some subtle changes. The chrome trim of the original Coyote has been replaced with black accents, and the entire truck has a dark matte gray finish with blacked-out windows.
To get an introduction to this next-generation rig, here’s an unboxing video by none other than Mr. Carisma himself, Ivan Cheung:
