With the imminent release of their Everest GEN-7, the team at Redcat Racing has been releasing more information and footage about their entry-level R/C scaler. Following their Everest GEN-7 Pro video, they've served up footage of the Everest GEN-7 Sport.

Although it's the base model, the Everest GEN-7 Sport looks quite impressive from the video that Redcat Racing has put together. With no trail to be seen in the video, the Everest GEN-7 claws its way over some impressive natural obstacles while illustrating suspension flex and articulation.

This model has had my attention from the time it was announced and I'm (im)patiently waiting for my pre-ordered rig to arrive. At $199.99, I feel the Everest GEN-7 Sport has an opportunity to open some eyes to R/C scaling and serve as a gateway vehicle for hobbyists.
