Nitro Racer: The XRay XB8
XRay, a European-based competition-focused R/C brand, has updated a few of their models for 2017. With a number of on-and-off-road machines in their lineup, they’ve managed to cover just about every vehicle type that a radio-controlled racer could want.
For 2017, their XB8 nitro buggy has been updated and refined through on-track experience. Designed by Martin Bayer, the XB8 brings new materials, redesigned components and re-focused weight balance into play. Improvements around the differential, from outdrives to gaskets, ensure smooth performance and maximum speed.
Other updates include aluminum steering posts, a redesigned brake cam, longer rear suspension arms, and more. Read the complete list of XB8(‘17) specs.
The 2017 XB8 is priced at $649 and is aimed at racers that are invested in the higher-competition end of the hobby. Learn more about the XRay XB8 nitro racing buggy at teamxray.com.
