HobbyKing's new, under-$100 2WD SCT V2 Kit

If you're looking to take a run at building your own kit, Turnigy has one that might be worth checking out. Their new SCT V2 kit includes threaded aluminum shocks, clear body, tires, wheels, and a servo saver. The kicker, it's only $84.28. Now that price will go up when you add electronics, a battery, and motor, but you're still looking at a great deal for a low-cost bashing machine.
While it doesn't have the mainstream name of other brands, this is a cost-effective way to not only get yourself (or someone you know) into the hobby, not to mention, the experience of a kit build.
