Cheap Thrills: What is Your Favorite Budget R/C?

I've done a bit of eBay cruising lately to see what deals are out there for small-scale vehicles and rally cars and have come across an interesting model that I had'nt heard of before.  

The WLtoys A949 is a 1/18 scale rally car that features 4-wheel drive and a 2.4GHz radio system and appears to be priced at (auction-wise) less than $100.  That's a nice price, but not being familiar with the brand/model, I'm not sure what the quality would be like.  That got me thinking.  What are some of your favorite "budget basher" R/C brands?  They don't need to be mainstream or well-known, necessarily.  Is there a vehicle (or two) that you like to throw into a duffle bag and take out as a pure fun-machine?  How does it perform, compared to your big-dollar vehicles?  Let's hear what your favorites are!
