Are R/C rally cars seeing a resurgence? Several new models have made their way onto hobby store shelves, and Carisma is adding one more for good measure. The second model to be introduced on its M48S platform, the M48S 1985 Audi Sport Quattro S1 looks like a fantastic machine, blending modern R/C tech with a rally racing icon.

The 1:1 1985 Audio Sport Quattro S1 has a storied history, and Carisma's 1/8 counterpart looks like it's honoring that heritage. Based on the M48S platform, this retro-styled rally car features a 550-size brushless motor paired with an updated ESC, allowing 2 and 3S LiPos to be used with this car.

The M48S 1985 Audi Sport Quattro S1 also includes a 3-diff setup with a metal driveline for maximum durability. The body features authentic decals and markings found on the 1:1 Audi Sport Quattro S1 rally car. Additional details such as the detailed grille and white multi-spoke wheels cap off this wonderfully-designed machine.
