Carisma M40F FWD Mid-Motor On-Road Chassis Kit
Carisma has released a new, unique on-road R/C car chassis kit for builders who want to create a custom, front-wheel-drive speed demon. Based on interest in a FWD platform, the M40F Chassis Kit was born.
While this chassis is in the same scale class as other Carisma M40 models, it features some unique design elements that make it stand out. The chassis plate and supporting braces all appear to be made of lightweight carbon fiber (or at least feature a carbon fiber finish), allowing this model to be nimble through corners and spritely on straightaways.
The motor and servo mount just behind the front steering assembly, and the ESC sits in front of the steering setup. This car appears to offer several points of adjustability, letting you tune it to suit your driving style, track type, and track conditions.
The M40F chassis is compatible with 190mm-wide R/C touring car bodies, especially those modeled after 1:1 front-wheel-drive cars.
To complete this kit, you will need to supply your own motor, ESC, radio system (transmitter and receiver), batteries (car and transmitter), 190mm polycarbonate on-road body, and paint.
