Capture Memories & More with the Compact DJI Mavic Mini
After years of watching DJI roll out new, tech-packed quadcopter models, the time may have come for me to check one out in person. Their latest offering is the super-compact Mavic Mini, a foldable multi-rotor aircraft that fits in the palm of your hand and weights about as much as your smartphone.
While DJI has introduced smaller quadcopters in the past, the Mavic Mini appears to offer the best of multiple worlds; design, camera setup, flight experience, and cost. For less than $450, you can get a quadcopter that can be flown just about anywhere and capture the moments and memories that you want to hold onto forever.
Flight features such as GPS Precise Hover, a 30-minute flight time, and multiple pre-packaged flight modes should make the Mavic Mini easy to fly for just about anyone.
When it comes to capturing action on the ground, this quadcopter can record both still images and video thanks to its 2.7K camera and 3-axis gimbal. The FPV stream is relayed through the DJI Fly App and is viewed on your smartphone.
