Axial Launches the Capra 1.9 4WS Unlimited Trail Buggy
The secret's out; Axial has lifted the veil on their four-wheel-steering trail machine, the Capra 1.9 4WS. This extreme crawling buggy builds on the capable Capra platform and adds a new level of performance thanks to rear-wheel steering.
The Capra 1.9 4WS features portal axles, steel diff, and wheel-drive gears, a 35T brushed motor, aluminum-bodied shocks, 1.9" tires, beadlock wheels, and stainless steel suspension and steering links to create a trail-worthy rig that's ready for the most extreme conditions.
Two graphics packages are available for the Capra 4WS; a Nitto version with a black roll cage and a Currie Enterprises model with a red cage. Pre-installed LED headlights and a roof-mounted LED light bar help illuminate the trail and add even more scale detail to this rough and tumble machine.
On the electronics front, Axial has loaded this rig with a Spektrum Firma Smart ESC/receiver combo and a Spektrum DX 3-channel transmitter with rear-steer control, two metal gear Spektrum S614 servos.
