Axial SCX10 III Motobilt Waypoint Jeep JT Gladiator RTR
It's hard to name a more iconic duo than Axial and Jeep. With many, many years of creating Jeep-bodied R/C crawlers, they certainly have a knack for crafting rugged rigs that are worthy of their 1:1 namesake.
With their latest release, the SCX10 III Motobilt Waypoint Jeep JT Gladiator, Axial is turning its attention to the overland enthusiast who wants a 1/10-scale trail truck that's ready to take on the wilds of the outdoors as soon as you plug in the battery.
Through a partnership with Motobilt, Axial has outfitted a replica Jeep JT Wrangler with outdoor exploration gear, including functioning headlights, taillights, bed lights, and bumper lights, plus a rear bed rack, and more. Since Axial has already released a Jeep Gladiator on the SCX10 III platform, you might think that this is a rehash of that exact model, but visually, these two machines are quite different.
The bobbed bed and narrow front and rear fenders give the body more clearance among rocks and other trail obstacles, while the 1.9" Maxxis Trepador tires (mounted on licensed KMC Grenade beadlock wheels) will help you navigate tricky trail situations.
Two body colors are available to choose from (tan or green), each with its own distinct graphics style.
On the performance side, the SCX10 III Motobilt Waypoint Jeep JT Gladiator features AR45 straight axles, an improved Panhard bar mount with two-piece construction and double shear protection, oil-filled shocks, and Dig functionality.
This 1/10-scale trail truck is powered by a 35-Turn brushed motor and a Spectrum Firma 40A ESC, and it includes a Spectrum SLT 3 3-channel transmitter.
