Are Two New Jeep Bodies on the Horizon from Axial?

By: Tim Gluth

With my trasmitter in hand, I’m watching the rain fall on what was to be a day of fun outdoor and R/C action. Sadly, Mother Nature had other plans and decided to wash our hobby fun to another day. At the very least, I have a little extra, and unplanned, time to dig into two new Jeep bodies that Axial may/could/should/hopefully will take the wraps off of soon.

A few folks that pay close attention to hobby shop inventory levels and new products have spotted a new Axial (SCX10?) body listed on towerhobbies.com, the Jeep NuKizer. If that name doesn’t ring a bell, don’t be alarmed. The Jeep NuKizer is one intense, aggressive-looking vehicle that gives a nod to the Kaiser Jeep M715.

The second body kit that Axial has been teasing is the Jeep Mighty FT for the Axial SCX10. This is a cab-forward (way forward) utlility vehicle that would make an excellent assist vehicle for trail runs and crawl competitions.

As you can see from the video preview that Axial posted to their Facebook page and from these photos on the Rivas Concepts RC Facebook page

Aside from the pricing information posted to the Tower Hobbies listing, not much additional information has been released about these bodies. Either (or both) of these vehicles would look great on my SCX10 and I personally can’t wait to check them out in-person.
