Another Rig on the Scale R/C Horizon: The HoBao DC-1
2018 is picking up right where 2017 left off, at least as far as the scale R/C scene is concerned. Joining the impressive pack of 1/10 trail and off-road rigs is HoBao, a brand who primarily produces "go-fast" radio-controlled cars, trucks, and buggies.
Based on a placeholder on their product page, they'll soon be throwing their hat into the ring of outdoor adventure rigs with their own DC-1. Save for a photo gallery and a brief list of details, there isn't much information about this new truck, however, the photos make it look very appealing.
Design-wise, it features an unlicensed body, clear windows, and an interior. Under the body, the chassis looks quite robust with waterproof electronics, aluminum suspension links, and a brushed motor serving as the main takeaways.
After seeing the photos which have been released, it's easy to draw comparisons between the DC-1 and the Traxxas TRX-4.
