Vaterra launches two new RTR models
Toy Fair time is bringing some great announcements for hobbyists! Vaterra has announced new RTR models for on and off-road fun: a 1967 Ford Mustang V100-S and a Ford Raptor Pre Runner. Both of these are 1/10-scale, with the Raptor being 4-wheel drive. The Mustang, naturally, is rear-wheel drive. The two models both feature brushless power systems, 2.4ghz radio systems, and water-resistant electronics.
The inner-workings of these two borrow heavily from other Vaterra on-road and off-road models, but the new bodies make them unique additions to an already robust lineup. Pricing is listed as $289.99 for the Mustang and $449.99 for the Raptor.
One aspect that I like about the Vaterra lineup is the attention given to scale detail. Their vehicles not only perform well but they're modeled after real-world, 1:1 scale counterparts (within reason) that let your imagination run wild when driving them.
