Unboxed & Rolling: The HPI Venture FJ Cruiser
After a longer-than-anticipated rollout, the HPI Venture has begun arriving in the hands of R/C hobbyists. If you recall, this rig sparked a firestorm of interest when it was first leaked/teased/announced in late-2015. From that point on, we’ve seen other brands announce and release their own first-time entries into the world of “scale R/C”, all the while waiting for signs of life from the HPI camp.
Shortly after the HPI group released a trail-action teaser video of the Venture FJ Cruiser, additional videos began popping up, only these featured the new 1/10 trail rig in the hands of hobbyists.
Folks like Rich from the RCNetwork, Tony from CompetitionX, Harley Designs, and the folks at BigSquidRC have all gotten their hands on this new model and have started sharing their thoughts on this model.
