Look to the sky: A new quadcopter magazine is approaching soon!

By: Tim Gluth

The team behind RCCar.Zone has certainly been busy in 2016. With two issues published of their hobby-grade radio-controlled vehicle magazine (and a third on the way), their parent company, HiveMind RC on Facebook is preparing the launch of their second publication, focusing on quadcopters and radio-controlled "drones".

The UK Drone Show, which hosts two of the largest multi-rotor, quadcopter events in Europe, has partnered with HiveMind RC to create #ukdroneshow, the official magazine of their 2016 events. Bringing you the latest in equipment, technology, and overall advancements in this ever-growing and increasingly popular form of RC, I'm personally very excited to see and read ukdroneshow's first issue.

Simon Crabb and I briefly began discussing the topic of quadcopters and fpv racing during episode 24 of the RC Newb Podcast, and while I have primarily focused on the surface-side of the hobby, quadcopters and multi-rotor "machines" have begun to grab my attention.

Slated to launch in March of 2016, this new magazine will follow the same distribution model of RCCar.Zone as a digital, pdf download. For more on this upcoming magazine, be sure to follow HiveMind RC on Facebook and search out the #ukdroneshow hashtag on your favorite social media platform.
