Traxxas TRX-4 Tactical Unit: High Performance at a New, Lower Price

The TRX-4 lineup has seen a number of additions in the past few years, seemingly offering something for everyone. Starting out with the realistically-styled, original TRX-4 Land Rover Defender and stretching all the way to the new TRX-4 Sport Kit, whether you love to build or simply open the box and drive, Traxxas has offered up a platform with wide appeal. One of their earlier releases, the Tactical Unit (TU), combines a unique body style with the premium elements (two-speed transmission, remote locking differentials, cruise control, etc) of the original. Now that model can be bought at a lower price.

Traxxas has lowered the price of the TRX-4 Tactical Unit from $419.99 to $379.95. When compared to other models in the lineup, specifically the TRX-4 Sport (ready-to-run), you can get all trail rig with plenty of bells and whistles for $20 more than a "bare-bones" model.
