Traxxas 4S Disruptor Brushless, Self-Righting R/C Speedboat
Boats, boats, everywhere. All of the recent boat releases aren't helping my intrigue in the marine side of the hobby, especially with the latest Traxxas model, the 4S Disruptor Brushless, Self-Righting R/C Speedboat. This Deep-V-style speedboat looks like a great option for hobbyists who have dipped a toe into R/C watercraft and are looking for something quicker.
Featuring a sleek hull design, the 4S Disruptor is designed for speed with its included Velineon VXL-4S Brushless Marine Motor and ESC. At 26" long, this isn't the longest boat on the market, but it's not the smallest, making it a great choice for larger ponds and lakes.
The hull is made of durable ABS plastic, and its stainless steel trim tabs and turn fins should withstand quick turns, giving you as much control as possible.
If things get out of hand and you find your 4S Disruptor upside-down, its self-righting feature should get it flipped back around and ripping up the waves in no time.
Another feature of this brushless R/C boat is its clipless latching system, which keeps the canopy tightly installed yet easy to remove when you need to change batteries or access the boat's internals.
