The "Log Roller" (featuring #Frankencrawler) [Video]

By: Tim Gluth

After a month off (due to a part failure), my oldest son was eager to take his #Frankencrawler out for a drive. He was not only testing out his new Hitec HS-645MG High-Torque 2BB Metal Gear Servo and his “new to him” Axial AX-3 transmitter. I recently upgraded my transmitter to a Fly Sky FS-GT-3B and wanted to get him into something other than the stock transmitter that had come with his Redcat Racing RS10.

On top of the new updates, we also removed the foams from his tires to give him a little extra grip on a variety of terrain. With a little obstacle set-up, he had a great time driving on, over, and around our yard. To see him getting excited about the hobby is not only entertaining, but a great opportunity for us to bond and share a great passtime.
