If you've been waiting for a realistic 1:1 two-wheeled experience on a smaller scale, the just-released AR-3D might the right ride for you.  After years of development, this ¼-scale electric dirt bike is available in two packages, an almost-ready-to-run (ARTR) model and a ready-to-run (RTR) model, and features visual and functional details to achieve a real-world look and performance.

An assortment of 3D printed components are utilized to give this bike a visual feel that's second to none. With wire-spoke-inspired wheels, alloy drive-chain, and scale frame design details, this one-fourth scale machine mimics a 1:1 two--wheeled off-roader to a T.

A frame-mounted e-gyro lends mechanical balance as well as clean appearance to this model, staying true to a 1:1 representation. Speaking as a casual fan of motocross-style vehicles, the appearance and attitude which the AR-3D possesses is incredible.

Components Required to Complete the “Standard” AR-3D model:

• A 540 Size brushless motor and ESC combo (4-Pole 3900kv Motor - 3.17mm shaft and 60A LiPo Compatible ESC recommended)
• A High Torque, Metal Geared standard size steering servo. Minimum torque rating of 10kg
• Standard Hard Cased, ‘Brick Pack’ RC Car LiPo Pack, 7.4V 2S 5000 mAh recommended
• A Standard 2.4GHz Surface *2 or *3 CH Tx/Rx combo
  *For the E-Gyro power, you have two options:
  1. Use the supplied mini Gyro ESC with a fixed gyro speed, that can be used with standard 2 CH transmitters
  2. Use a helicopter or airplane 20A ESC in conjunction with a 3CH transmitter, allowing on the fly adjustment of the e-Gyro’s RPM to suit the running surface, for total control.
