Team Losi Racing has released their latest 1/8-scale competition buggy kit, the 8IGHT-XE Elite. Designed from on-track experience, the 8IGHT-XE Elite features an array of performance-focused highlights to help you dominate your local circuit.
Elite is more than just a name when it comes to this model. TLR has packaged this buggy kit with a number of now-standard option parts used by Team Losi’s drivers. A sample of these parts includes a carbon fiber center differential brace, 3.5mm shock shafts, an aluminum front brace, wider wheel hexes, and more.
A durable aluminum chassis serves as the foundation for this 1/8-scale kit offering lightweight durability for on-track action. Racers can choose to install one of two rear wing designs, based on track layout and conditions. The rear wing riser has also been redesigned for improved aerodynamic performance.
The 8IGHT-XE Elite also features a lighter-weight aluminum motor mount and redesigned steering rack for improved adjustment capability. When it comes time to maintain and repair select components, improved access to items such as the diffs should make those projects less cumbersome.
To complete this kit, you’ll need to supply a motor, ESC, steering servo, radio system (transmitter and receiver), battery, battery charger, and polycarbonate paint. Some additional items may also be required.
