Tamiya has introduced a new 1/10-scale, on-road R/C car kit into their lineup; the Volkswagen Scirocco GT. Riding atop their TT-02 chassis, this sleek and stylish compact is a nice, modern-bodied option for radio-controlled car enthusiasts.
Under the body, the TT-02 chassis has been a tried-and-true option for Tamiya, and seeing them extend the use of this platform should come as no surprise. The body design of this model captures the 1:1 Volkswagen Scircco's essense to a T. Grille, headlight, tailight, and other body details are molded into this clear polycarbonate body and are ready for whatever color of paint you choose.
To complete this kit, you'll need to supply a radio system (transmitter and receiver), steering servo, battery, charger, polycarbonate paint, and assembly tools.
