Tamiya's Rally Cry: 1/10 Lancia Rally Kit
Every year, the Nuremberg International Toy Fair provides a glimpse into the road ahead for the R/C hobby. Many brands bring their latest and greatest, ready to tease the industry (and hobbyists as well) with what's in store for the coming year.
Every brand in attendance brought their "A game" this year, including Tamiya. With a slew of upcoming vehicle releases on the horizon, it's a great time to be in the radio-control hobby, especially if you enjoy building old-school kits.
Now that I've buried the lede long enough, here's one release, of many, that has me excited. The Lancia 037 Rally (#58654) will make a return to Tamiya's lineup in 2018. This 1980's rally car replica features a highly-detailed body, complete with Lancia Martini decals.
Riding atop Tamiya's TA-02 S chassis, this 1/10-scale rally car kit should be as fun to drive as it is to build. This chassis uses a tub-style base and includes 4-wheel drive and independent suspension.

- 2 or 3-channel radio system (transmitter and receiver)
- Battery charger
