Tamiya Land Rover Defender 90 Kit

It's hard to ignore a classic off-road rig, no matter what scale it may be. The Land Rover Defender 90 body style is a popular look for many 1/10-scale radio-controlled trail machines. Add Tamiya to the list of Land Rover fans, as they've released their own version of this classic vehicle.

Their Land Rover Defender 90 Kit features a detailed recreation of the Defender 90 body, with plenty 1:1 characteristics molded into its polycarbonate body. Additional body elements (side mirrors, roof rack, etc) add the finishing touch to this truck, giving it true scale appeal.

Like many of their other off-road, "scale R/C" models, Tamiya's Land Rover Defender 90 is built upon their CC01 platform. With its molded chassis and spring and link suspension, this truck should be capable of handling trails as well as slightly rougher terrain.

To complete this kit, you'll need to supply a steering servo, radio system (transmitter and receiver), batteries (transmitter and vehicle), and polycarbonate paint for the body.
