Tamiya CC-02 Mercedes-Benz G 500 1/10-scale Trail Truck Kit

Tamiya is no stranger to the scale R/C scene and their CC-01 chassis serves as the foundation for a number of radio-controlled trail trucks. Building off of their success and experience with the CC-01, Tamiya is introducing its second-generation trail platform, the CC-02 Mercedes-Benz G 500.

The first thing you'll notice about this new rig is the beautifully-recreated, polycarbonate G 500 body. Decked out with all of the details you'd expect to find on a 1:1 machine, this 1/10-scale version features highlights such as side-view mirrors, a molded grille, and rear tire carrier.

Under the body, you'll find a refreshed crawler chassis that features four-link suspension, a near-the-front motor, oil-filled shocks, and a rear-mounted battery tray.

The chassis has a distinct "Tamiya feel" to it, blending nylon, plastic, and metal parts to create a rig that should be a capable trail rider. Capping off the look of this truck are four super-scale tires and replica Mercedes-Benz G 500 wheels.
