Tamiya "Candy Green" Grasshopper Re-release
Along with the re-release of The Bigwig 4-wheel drive buggy, Tamiya is bringing back a special edition of their classic Grasshopper. The “Candy Green” Grasshopper kit (#47348) will see new life in 2017 with an “attention-getting” bright green body and 1980’s styling.
Underneath that green body most of the components are the same as what you’ll find in the classic Grasshopper re-release. The only noticeable difference between the two is the use of a TBLE-02S electronic speed control (ESC) vs the TEU-101BK that’s included in the basic model. The upside of the TBLE-02S is the fact that it can be used with both brushed and brushless motors.
