Tamiya Avante (2011) Black Special 1/10-scale Buggy Re-release

If you're feeling nostalgic for the not-so-distant past, Tamiya has a new model that's sure to spark some fun. Taking inspiration from their Mini 4WD lineup, the new Avante (2011) Black Special kit features a black and grey color scheme, eye-catching wheels, and an overall old-school, classic buggy feel.

Originally released in 1988, the Avante has seen a few revisions over the years. This new model uses the 2011 "Black Special" design and components, including a 25-T brushed motor, aluminum chassis, and suspension elements.

Knobby tires, a hallmark of classic radio-controlled buggies, are included in this kit, along with eye-grabbing red-orange wheels.
