Talking Motors, ESCs, and More with Tekin's Jim Campbell

Shortly before 2020 came to a close, I had the opportunity to sit down (virtually) with Jim Campbell, President of Tekin for The Big Squid RC Podcast. Tekin is one of the best-known names when it comes to 2wd and 4wd off-road R/C competition motors and ESCs, so it was great to hear the origin story of this company and Jim's involvement with it.

Throughout our chat, Jim shared details about some of Tekin's earliest successes as well as some of their most-recent best-selling products. We also chatted about some of the hottest trends in the hobby, including scale and trail trucks and R/C drag racing.
