Spektrum STX3 3-Channel Radio System

By: Tim Gluth

Whether you're building a kit or upgrading your ready-to-run (RTR) model, Spektrum has introduced a new, 3-channel radio system that brings control, range, and adjustability to just about any radio-controlled machine.

The STX3 3-channel transmitter/receiver combo provides an entry-level approach for bashers, racers, and rock crawlers alike. The four-knob adjustment layout will let you tune the steering and throttle trim of your R/C machine along with the steering and throttle rate.

If you've got a new driver and want them to learn the basics before they bash, the STX3 features a three-stage throttle limiter, for holding the throttle speed to 50, 75, or 100%. Not only does the STX3 have your main two channels covered, but you can also add a third accessory to the receiver and control it through the handle-mounted buttons.

Rounding out this radio system is the SRX300 3-channel receiver, which can stand up to the elements thanks to its water-resistant design.
