Searching for Sendero: Will Element RC's First RTR Make a Return?

I made the rounds on a few R/C sites a few weeks ago and found something odd when I visited elementrc.com. What I consider to be their flagship rig, the one that launched their brand back in 2019, was missing from their lineup. That's right; the Enduro Sendero RTR was nowhere to be found.

The Element RC lineup has grown significantly since the Sendero release, so perhaps it was time for this model to be put out to pasture. After experiencing this rig first-hand, I was hoping that this wouldn't be the case. Thankfully, several social media posts from Element RC have me reading tea leaves and anticipating the return of the Sendero RTR.

While I couldn't capture a screenshot of their first post, a Facebook Story, I was intrigued by a zoomed-in image of a red Enduro Sendero. Interesting. Very interesting. A few days later, that post was followed up by this message:

Got the barn shop all cleaned up...rumor is Pappy is bringing home a new rig. #ElementRC

That note, accompanied by the image you see in this article's header, shines a bright light on what we might expect to see in the next few days. If I had to guess, I'd imagine we'll get a refreshed Enduro Sendero, probably in a new color, possibly with IFS as a standard feature. While IFS is a wish more than a hunch, I'm also under the impression that we'll get a thicker body on the Sendero V2, based solely on comments made on an Element RC live stream a few months ago.

Whether any of this is true remains to be seen. I know that I'm looking forward to seeing the Sendero return to the Element RC lineup, as it's an excellent rig with plenty of performance right out of the box.
