Schumacher CAT L1 1/10 Competition R/C Buggy Kit
The team at Schumacher Racing Products has announced the release of the CAT L1, a 1/10-scale, 4-wheel drive, electric R/C competition buggy kit. Learning from on-track competition this buggy features a number of enhancements over previous Schumacher models.
Designed for clay, carpet, and astroturf surfaces, the CAT L1 has plenty of chassis, suspension, and transmission refinements. Starting with the chassis, you'll find an anodized, 2mm 7075-T6 alloy plate serving as the foundation for this racer, along with carbon stiffeners.
The front wing mount, front bumper, and body (Aerox) have all been re-imagined to help maximize performance. The handling of the buggy has also been addressed, thanks to new suspension components (wishbones, hub carriers, and anti-roll bars) and big bore shocks with durable titanium nitride shafts and threaded spring collars.
Making sure you're putting maximum power to the tires, the CAT L1 features a three gear transmission, polyurethane drivebelts, as well as lighter weight gears and housings.
