One of the more highly-anticipated models in the radio-controlled scale crawling scene is now available for order. The Gmade KOMODO 4x4 trail truck is one aggressive-looking and highly-detailed R/C rigs to hit the market in some time. While the body style isn’t officially licenced from a major auto manufacturer, it bears a striking resemblance to Ford’s newer F-150. Known for their “old-school” Jeep-inspired Sawback models, this is the first truck that Gmade has produced.
This kit offers a number of great features that you won’t typically find if you opt for a a ready-to-run (RTR) model. The chassis is constructed of steel, featuring a ladder frame design and c-channel side rails. An adjustable battery plate will give you a variety of options to move the battery weight around in your vehicle for optimal performance when tackling tough terrain and the 4-link suspension will make sure you have enough clearance and articulation to get through or over anything in your path. G-Transition aluminum, internal spring shock absorbers are also found in with this kit, along with 1.9” tires and wheels (plastic beadlock) for a true-to-scale look.
