Redcat Racing Everest GEN7: Final Pricing, Specs & Availability

The anticipation around the three new scale R/C rigs that are rolling out in the next few months is at an alltime high. Details and preorder information for the HPI Venture and Traxxas TRX-4 have already been released, leaving the upcoming entry from Redcat Racing left holding its cards.

While I’ve had my eye on all three of these Radio-controlled scale machines, the Redcat Racing Everest GEN7 has kept me consistently intrigued. Not only is the price attractive, (especially if you’re a hobbyist on a budget), but the features and build specs appear to break from previous Redcat Racing models.

Now, with the release date approaching, complete details around this upcoming model have been released, including features, trim levels, and price. The Redcat Racing Everest GEN7 will be offered in two trim levels. The Everest GEN7 is a bare-bones, basic package that will give you a ready-to-run (RTR) scale trail rig, waterproof electronics, battery (NiMH, 2000mah), and radio system, for $199.99.

If you’re looking for more right out of the box, the Everest GEN7 PRO, gives you the same basic rig set up, a higher capacity battery (NiMH, 3000mah), and an array of additional scale accessories and body features. The additional cost for these extras brings the Everest GEN7 PRO price to $279.99.
