RC4WD Rolls Out the Hardbodied C2X Class 2 Comp Truck

By: Tim Gluth

RC4WD has introduced their latest ready-to-run (RTR) model, the C2X Class 2 Competition Truck. Designed with both new and seasoned drivers in mind, this new trail truck offers up a blend of scale detail and trail-tested performance.

Based around an aluminum ladder-frame chassis, the C2X features a front-mounted motor and transfer case and a mid-mounted battery tray, all in an effort to front-load the vehicle's weight for improved crawling performance. Aluminum-bodied, dual spring RRD emulsion scale shocks bring both beauty and adjustability to this truck and can be tuned to best-fit your driving conditions.

Stamped steel 1.9" beadlock wheels and licensed Mickey Thompson 1.9" Baja MTZ tires are the standard "shoes" for this rig and should give you a leg up when it comes to rock-gripping performance.

While the chassis of this rig certainly looks tough, the exterior also has it's own attitude, thanks to the hard-plastic body and detailed accessories that you'll find on it. Combining durable materials to create the body and bed, this four-door Mojave II body is ready to hit the trail as-is.

If you want to add custom touches to this truck, you can easily do so as well. LED lights can be installed using the pre-set light buckets and other modifications can be made to this truck with minimal effort.

Priced at $499.99, the RC4WD C2X is available for pre-order, with an expected shipping date of October 15, 2019. Visit rc4wd.com to learn more about this 1/10-scale radio-controlled trail truck.
