RC4WD Reveals Their Latest RTR Trail Truck: The "Terrain"
The R/C scale and trail truck scene has become one of the most vibrant and energized areas of the radio-control hobby. RC4WD, a longtime player in the outdoor R/C arena, has introduced their latest model, the "Terrain".
This 1/10-scale, ready-to-run (RTR) trail truck features a "super duty-style" body that's chock-full of scale detail both above and below the surface. Known for their attention to detail, RC4WD has packed quite a few scale elements into the chassis and drivetrain of this rig.
The transfer case, axles, and motor placement appear to take a page from 1:1 vehicle design, with the motor and transfer case nestled just behind the front axle.
Dual-spring shocks are mounted to the ladder-frame chassis, ready to absorb whatever the trail may throw your way.
A 35-T brushed motor, waterproof Outcry II ESC, and digital steering servo help round out the electronic details and a 2.4GHz radio system to keep the entire package under control.
The body of the Terrain features a tall grille and bold features, making it a perfect on or off-road beast. No matter where you choose to drive this truck, it will look right at home.
