R/C on TV: Catch the 2017 DRL World Championship on Friday, July 28

By: Tim Gluth

While it's too early to tell whether or not quadcopter racing will become the spectator sport of the future, it's made some major strides in popularity over the past year. One of the larger racing leagues, the Drone Racing League (DRL) will be wrapping up their 2017 campaign with an eight-pilot shootout in London.

Two events will be broadcast on ESPN, the Championship Elimination Round (9PM EST) and the Championship Finals (10pm EST). Both rounds of action will pit some of the best multi-rotor R/C pilots against one another, with the eventual champion being crowned at the end of it all.
