R/C Hobbyist Spotlight: iJumpRC (Bryndon Smith)

By: Tim Gluth

Some people are fortunate to have been able to combine their love for R/C with what they do for a living. One such individual is Bryndon Smith. I “internet-met” Bryndon shortly after I had launched RCNewb.com. Before our first online meeting, I had already seen (and had become a fan of) his amazing work. Chances are, some of you have seen a few of his creations as well.

Bryndon’s claim to fame isn’t in chassis design or in painting R/C car bodies. What Bryndon does, through his professional career as well as his passion for the hobby, is create stunning radio-control-centric videos. His own site, iJumpRC, is a constant source of entertainment for those looking to watch outrageous, off-the-wall footage of jumps, flips, and a few unexpected on-screen appearances.

When he isn’t creating videos for his site and YouTube channel, Bryndon can be found traveling at a variety of locations, filming and editing footage for Traxxas. His work has undoubtedly been seen by thousands of people (if not more) and for good reason. He not only loves what he does, but he’s darn good at it too.
