While not a great movie, Days of Thunder did have many spoken nuggets of wisdom. One quote that still holds true is this; “Tires is what wins a race...”. While the overall grammar of that quote is questionable, the core of it is very true. You need great tires underneath you if you want a chance to win the race, any race.
