Price Drop: Redcat Lowers the RDS Builders Kit to $199.99

Redcat caught quite a few people off-guard with the RDS Competition Spec Drift Car releases last year. Shortly after introducing the ready-to-run (RTR) model, the RDS Builders Kit was ushered in, letting R/C drift fanatics customize their own 1/10-scale drift machine from the ground up.

If you're a drifter looking for a new project (and like to save money), Redcat has announced a price drop for the RDS Builders Kit. You can now get this competition-focused drift car chassis kit for only $199.99. This kit will get you started with a lightweight, carbon fiber chassis tray and components, three motor mounting positions, HDPE Drift tires, and multi-spoke wheels.

To complete your RDS Builders Kit build, you'll need to supply a body, radio system (receiver and transmitter), steering servo, ESC, motor, drift gyro, battery and battery charger.
