O.S. Owns the Podium at the 2017 Dirt Nitro Challenge
Champaign, IL, March 2017 -
Once again O.S. met the Dirt Nitro Challenge
head-on, and the results were spectacular! Billed as the largest gas off-road race in the world, the Dirt Nitro Challenge attracted 900 entrants to the Fear
Farm R/C Raceway in Phoenix, Arizona, for 5 days of intense competition.
Racing icon Adam Drake took the championship in the Legend class with his ride powered by a Speed B2102 engine. That same engine also helped Chad
Phillips win first place in the 40+ Nitro Truggy division.
Joe Bornhorst came in a close 2nd in the Nitro Truggy race, with his vehicle featuring a Speed Spec II power plant. O.S. innovation and technology have been difference-makers for these world-renowned R/C drivers.
