No Joke: Tamiya's Comical Avante Buggy

Leave it to Tamiya to take a number of their well-known kits and reinvent them with a new, playful spin. Their "Comical" line of kits has slowly taken a number of beloved R/C models and reimagined them with a cartoonish twist.

The latest Tamiya machine to receive this treatment is the Comical Avante Buggy. As if it were a real-life caricature, this 1/10-scale kit features a bubbly version of the traditionally sleek Avante body shell. Made from durable polycarbonate, you'll be able to paint the Comical Avante just like the "classic" version, or put your own custom spin on it.

Riding on Tamiya's GF-01 chassis, this buggy has larger-than-normal tires, that grab both attention and traction, a 540-size brushed motor (with ESC) and a wheelie bar. The only items you'll need to complete your build are a 2.4GHz radio system, steering servo, batteries (for the model and radio), paint, and assembly tools.
