Mugen Seiki MBX8 Eco 1/8-scale R/C Competition Buggy Kit

Eighth-scale R/C racers have a new model to consider, as Mugen Seiki announced their latest release, the MBX8 Eco. Featuring an array of improvements over previous models, the MBX8 Eco appears to be a solid contender.

For starters, the chassis has been designed to handle bumpy track conditions with ease. Drivetrain updates include high-traction differentials, a straight-cut 13T bevel gear and 44T conical gear (which increase acceleration), and a new gearbox with easier access to the differentials.

The suspension on the MBX8 Eco has also received attention in the form of improved suspension mounts, box-shaped suspension arms and arm stiffeners.
