Max Speed Technology's Latest Crawler Chassis; the CFX-WS

By: Tim Gluth

Max Speed Technology has announced its newest crawler chassis, the CFX-WS. Building on their CFX-W platform, this new chassis focuses on performance and realistic detail through an array of refreshed components.

For starters, the CFX-WS sports a new front and rear axle design which aims to provide an improvement in approach and decline angles and overall crawling performance. The new, SA25 axles feature low-profile housings for reduced hangups and improved visual scale appeal.

Like its predecessor, the motor on the CFX-WS is front-mounted and it employs a chassis-mounted steering servo setup. When it comes to grip performance, this crawler chassis has been paired with MST's newest tire, the DC. These 1.9" crawler tires feature an aggressive tread to help give you the most traction while out on the trail.

MST CFX-WS Chassis Specs:

  • Wheelbase: 313mm
  • Width: 224mm
  • Gear Ratio: 1:31.7 ~ 1:46.7
  • Tire 30X105-1.9"
  • Axles: SA25
