Losi Unleashes the Lazernut 1/10-scale Brushless Rock Racer
Looking for a new R/C rock racing experience? Losi has announced the release of their Lazernut RTR, a 1/10-scale, brushless rock racer based on the full-size Ultra4 machine. With a blend of scale detail and raw performance, this off-road radio-controlled machine should offer an amazing driving experience.
The Losi Lazernut is based on Losi's TEN platform and utilizes an aluminum chassis and several durable components to let you cut loose on dirt, sand, and rocks. Oil-filled, adjustable shocks, adjustable turnbuckles, sway bars, and more offer the ability to tune and tweak handling performance to match both conditions and driving styles.
On the visual side, this 1/10-scale machine is a wonderfully-recreated replica of the 1:1 U4 vehicles produced by Lazernut Racing. The body panels include detailed cutouts and mesh grillework and the driver compartment includes molded driver and navigator figures for an ultra-scale feel.
In addition to those details, the Lazernut also includes an LED light bar and LED light pods for even more scale goodness. The Losi Lazernut rolls on 2.2" licensed BFGoodrich KM3 tires and licensed Raceline wheels.
All of the electronics found on this rock racer are waterproof/water resistant and should hold up to just about any type of off-roading environment. A Spektrum Firma SMART ESC is paired with a Spektrum Firma 4-pole 1900kv (550-size) brushless motor to provide smooth performance and power. A Spektrum DX3 radio system is also included with this ready-to-run rig, giving you AVC control and plenty of adjustable settings.
