Losi Baja Rey 1/10 4WD Radio-Controlled Trophy Truck
If you thought the R/C trophy/desert truck landscape was set, you’ve got another model coming your way. Losi has announced (without much pre-release chatter) a ready-to-run (RTR), brushless-powered, 1/10-scale trophy truck. The Baja Rey Desert Truck not only looks amazing, but with the features that are Included, it should perform even greater than it appears.
Outside of the brushless powerplant (Dynamite Fuze 3800KV), this off-road machine features a solid rear axle, shaft-driven 4-wheel drive, a hard-anodized aluminum chassis plate, and rides on oil-filled, coil-over shocks (adjustable). With the power that this truck has out of the box, it also retains a good bit of control. The Desert Claw tires will keep you in the game and not lacking for grip in tricky terrain and the AVC (Active Vehicle Control) technology That is built into the ESC will keep you in command of your ride, no matter how squirrely it may want to get.
Also on the electronics front, The Baja Rey features a 2.4GHz radio system (with a Spektrum DX2E transmitter) and waterproof/water resistant electronics (receiver, servo, and ESC). With this being a RTR model, the only thing you’ll need to supply before you hit the dunes is a battery pack and charger.
