Losi 22S SCT Brushed Short Course Truck

By: Tim Gluth

It shouldn't cost you a lot of money just to have fun with R/C machines. With this in mind, Losi has released the 22S SCT short course truck, a race-inspired, ready-to-run (RTR), 1/10-scale model that's packed with performance, and costs less than $200.

Taking elements from their 22S SCT Brushless models, Losi is aiming to create wallet-friendly performance and durability for those new to the R/C hobby. Among the features of this new short course truck are an all-metal (gearing) transmission, an easy-access, bottom-loading battery tray, aluminum chassis plates (front and rear) and a 550-size, 12T brushed motor.
