Kyosho's Fazer Mk2 Dodge Challenger Hellcat
My passion for the R/C hobby has deep roots in my overall love for automobiles, namely muscle cars. While my personal 1:1 dream car list changes from year-to-year, a majority of the vehicles on that list are still pavement-pounding, tire-shredding muscle cars.
Thankfully, this hobby provides many opportunities to live out dream car fantasies on a smaller budget (and scale). The folks at Kyosho has taken a modern Mopar muscle car and replicated it onto their Fazer Mk2 touring car platform.
Their Fazer Dodge Challenger Hellcat Readyset is a ready-to-run (RTR) 1/10-scale, 4WD street machine that packs performance underneath a sleek 1:1 replica body. The shaft-driven 4wd platform puts power to all four wheels, allowing for extreme grip and on-road performance, while its brushed motor churns out steady speed.
The real focal point of this car is the body, a polycarbonate replica of Dodge's Challenger Hellcat, done up in "Plum Crazy" purple. The details of the 1:1: Challenger have been replicated on this R/C car body, including an inset grille, side mirrors, rear spoiler, and more.
