It's Showtime: FMS Reveals the FCX10 Chevy K5 Blazer
After several weeks (if not months) of build-up, FMS has taken the wraps off its latest 1/10-scale R/C crawler, the FCX10 Chevy K5 Blazer. More than just an upscaled version of its 1/24-scale FCX24 Blazer, this new offering is packed with several features to make your next R/C adventure the best it can be.
From the outside, this is a well-styled replica of the square-bodied Chevy K5 Blazer. With its polycarbonate body and injection-molded body details, it looks great whether roaming the outdoors or parked in your R/C garage. This model includes an injection-molded rear capper, letting you customize the look of your rig to fit your taste.
Getting to the internals of this trail rig is made easier thanks to push tabs that secure the body posts to the underside of the chassis. Another nice feature this rig offers is the magnetic LED light connector system, which allows the body to be untethered for easier access to the chassis.
Under the body, the FCX10 boasts an array of driver-focused features, including a two-speed transmission, lockable front and rear diffs, and multiple drive types, including front-wheel drive, four-wheel drive, and a dig function. In addition to those remote-controlled features, you can also turn the FCX10's lights off and on through a switch on the transmitter.
