Horizon Hobby Unveils Their Premier R/C Events for 2020

If you’ve begun to plan your year’s worth of vacations and weekend getaways, you’ll want to pay attention to what Horizon Hobby has cooked up for R/C fun in 2020. While they’ll be participating in a number of events throughout the year, they have announced dates for a handful of their signature events...which include a few surprises.

Horizon Hobby RC Fest 2020 - June 12 - 14, 2020

Back for its third-straight year is Horizon Hobby RC Fest. Taking place at Eli Field in Monticello, IL, this three-day event is an all-you-can-handle buffet of radio-controlled fun.

Past versions of this event have featured demo stations, speed runs, exhibits, and much more, making it a must-attend event for R/C enthusiasts.

Axialfest Badlands - June 25 - 27, 2020

New for 2020 is an additional installment of the ultra-popular scale R/C get-together known as Axialfest. Held at Badlands Off-Road Park in Attica, IN, this event looks like a great option for those living in the Midwest or Eastern part of the United States.

Axialfest 2020 - July 22 - 25, 2020

Back for another round of summertime fun is Axialfest “classic”. Returning to last year’s location at Donner Ski Ranch in Norden, CA, this event is a true destination for hardcore fans of R/C crawling and scale rigs. Even if you’re just getting into the hobby (or the crawling scene) this is one “can’t miss” event.

Air Meet - August 15 - 16, 2020

If you’re into all things air-related, Horizon Hobby’s Air Meet should be a great event to attend this year. Taking place in Genderkingen, Germany, this gathering of radio-controlled plane and aircraft fanatics should be one to mark on your calendar.
